4 Ways to Calm a Gassy Baby

Baby gassy? Not sure how to help them when they are suffering from gas pains? Here are 4 things you can try to calm your gassy baby:

  • Feeding Angle: Feed baby on an angle, make sure her head is higher than her stomach so they don’t take in as much air.
  • Gentle Tummy Massage: Softly stroke baby’s belly in a clockwise direction, this follows the path of digestion and can help get the air moving in his tummy.
  • Bicycle Legs: Lay baby on their back and gently move their legs in a bicycle motion to help release any air trapped in her stomach.
  • Gripe Water: Gripe Water is an herbal supplement that eases discomfort from gassiness and reduces fussiness.

  1. Our baby boy being premature was started on enfamil and he struggle with everything from tummy pain to constipation.

We tried every option of Enfamil for the first 4 months.

Lacking success we made the change to “similac alimentum” liquid form.

It was an immediate improvement and now into our sixth month we still have a very happy little guy.

Note: Gripe water is still a big help when needed.
