Being a first time mom can be overwhelming. Since our CEO is having a baby, we were curious to know what some of the best pieces of advice other moms have gotten about being a mom. We asked our fans to share their tips with us and received some wonderful responses.
Here are five pieces of advice from our fans to make mommyhood a little easier:
“Make as many freezer meals as you can before the baby is born.” – Ashley G.
“Pack an ‘oh crap I forgot’ bag…It is packed with extra ‘everything’ that baby could need (a few extra diapers of all sizes, etc.)…As a momma of twins and one other, this has saved me more than a few times.” – Courtney M.
“Let go of the things that keep you from being the best mom that you can be, and that keep you from taking care of yourself. The ridiculous notion that there is some sort of ‘supermom’ that we should all aspire to be isn’t healthy…Let things go for the sake of your baby, yourself, and your relationships with those you love…you, just as you are, are enough.” – Krista W.
“Remember to make time for yourself when you get a chance! Setting aside an hour a day at least for ‘me time’ helps you refresh and rewind. Don’t be afraid to enlist a trusted family member or friend to help when you need it.” – Nicole A.
“Live in the moment rather than striving for perfection.” – @xmancunianx
