Tackling Summer Travel with Baby: What to Pack

It seems the smaller they are the more they need, it can be easy to forget something. Here is a list of our must haves for when you are traveling with baby this summer.

 

Carry-On/Easily Accessible

Here are the things you need to have on hand while you are traveling:

Diapers (1 for every hour and a few extras)

Gripe Water (keep on hand for any tummy troubles that may arise while traveling)

Wipes

Diaper Cream

Bags for dirty diapers and soiled clothes

Full change of clothes

Light weight blankets

Fever reducer/pain reliever

Formula and spare bottles if formula feeding

Spare pacifiers

Pacifier clip

Small snacks if baby is eating solids

Bibs

Small toys

Copy of baby’s birth certificate (never needed it but like to have when flying with baby)

Carrier

Remember to bring along for the trip:

Lightweight stroller

Car seat if you will be riding in a car at your destination

Portable crib

Sweet Slumber Line (bedtime can be difficult while away from home, doing the same bedtime routine can help baby transition to sleep)

Bottles

Formula

Bottle brush

Dish soap

Small snacks

Bibs

Breast pump

Baby food and spoons if baby is eating solids

Diapers, Wipes and Diaper Cream

Clothes (pack 2 outfits per day if you will not be doing laundry while away from home)
