Is Mommy's Bliss Kids Cough Syrup 3rd party tested?

Yes! Our Kids Cough Syrup is NSF Certified which means it has been independently tested and certified to meet standards for quality, safety and label claims. Learn more about our NSF Certified products here.

Do I need to refrigerate this Kids Cough syrup product?

No, the product does not require refrigeration. Store the product at normal room temperature well closed and out of direct sunlight. You may refrigerate to prolong the shelf-life, but it is not needed.

What if my child has a persistent cough?

We suggest contacting your pediatrician for any persistent cough that lasts 5 or more days or which seems especially difficult for your child.

Why do we add elderberry to Kids Cough syrup?

European elder fruit (berries) have been used since ancient times by herbalists and the founders of western medicine (Hippocrates, Dioscorides, and Pliny the Elder) to ease the symptoms associated with coughs. Elderberry is loaded with antioxidants, so it aids in boosting immunity. And it makes our cough formula taste great!

How long can I use it after opening the bottle?

We suggest this product be discarded 3 months after opening. This protects the products from potential contamination and degradation that might be caused by repeated handling.

Can I give the night time formula to my little one during the day-time?

YES, but keep in mind the additional herbal ingredients in Mommy’s Bliss Organic Cough Syrup and Mucus Relief Night Time are designed to help your little one relax and fall asleep. Thus, we suggest using Mommy’s Bliss Organic Cough Syrup and Mucus Relief + Immunity Boost during the day.

Can my little one become dependent on the night time formula, like a sedative?

NO, absolutely not. The herbal ingredients provide a very mild calming effect to help your little one relax and fall asleep. There are no sleep-inducing chemicals in our products to become dependent on.
