Can I use Gripe Water Gel Night Time with gripe water liquid?

No, the low pH isn’t recommended for sensitive skin.

How do I give Organic Gripe Water Night Time Gel to my baby?

Wash hands thoroughly before use. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of Gripe Water Gel to your fingertip and put it inside your baby’s cheek, or let them slowly swallow from a pacifier or spoon.

Can I use this with gripe water liquid?

Can I give my baby gripe water gel and gripe water gel night time in the same day?

Yes, you may give both Gripe Water Original Gel and Gripe Water Gel Night Time to your baby throughout the day, as long as you’re sure to follow the labeled directions and precautions for each product.

Can Gripe Water Gel be put in my baby’s bottle?

No, don’t mix this with formula or breastmilk, as it may curdle. Give separately from feedings.

Does the tip have a seal or snap-off tip?

No, but the box should have a clear adhesive tamper-evident seal at the opening, so you can be sure your Gripe Water Gel is safe to use.

Can I mix Gas Relief Drops into my baby’s bottle?

Yes! You can mix a serving of Gas Relief Drops with one ounce of cool water, infant formula or another appropriate liquid, being sure to clean the dropper after each use.

Can I use Gas Relief Drops every day?

Gas Relief Drops can be used as needed, after meals, and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician. Don’t exceed 12 doses per day. Consult your health care provider about long-term daily use.

Can I use Gripe Water Night Time And Gripe Water Original at the same time?

You can use both forms of Gripe Water within the same 24 hour period, but be sure to follow the recommended servings for each, so you don’t exceed maximum daily use.

What makes Gripe Water Night Time different than Gripe Water Original?

Gripe Water Night Time includes our Bedtime Bliss Blend of calming chamomile, lemon balm and passionflower, so as your baby’s stomach gets more comfortable, they also get a little help relaxing into sleep.* The same proven ingredients that soothe tummy troubles are present in both Gripe Water Original and Gripe Water Night Time.*

Can I mix Baby Constipation Ease with formula or breastmilk?

Sorry, no. The high acidity and low pH of Baby Constipation Ease curdles breastmilk and formula, and no one wants to drink that. But don’t worry: your baby will love the flavor all on its own.

How soon will my baby get relief from baby constipation ease?

It may take one to three days to see results, especially in older babies, whose normal bowel movements are already less frequent than newborns’. If you don’t see any improvement after three to five days, consult your pediatrician.

Can I give Baby Constipation Ease to my baby every day?

It’s a good idea to discuss chronic or severe constipation with your pediatrician. Stick to our recommended serving amount and frequency unless directed otherwise by your baby’s doctor.

Is Baby Constipation Ease a natural remedy?

Our Baby Constipation Ease uses fennel and dandelion to help relieve occasional stomach discomfort and bloating caused by occasional constipation, with soluble fiber from prune juice concentrate to naturally aid regular bowel movements.* Polydextrose, a prebiotic soluble fiber, works to promote the growth of healthy bowel bacteria, which can aid in maintaining regularity.

Why is the minimum age for using Baby Constipation Ease 6 months? Can I give my younger baby a half-serving?

Generally, constipation in infants younger than 6 months is a concern worth discussing with your pediatrician. Baby Constipation Ease is made with safe ingredients and is designed to help constipation for the age ranges indicated, unless otherwise directed by your baby’s doctor.*

Is Gripe Water sweetened?

Glycerol, a sugar alcohol, gives our Gripe Water its sweet taste without adding sugar. An FDA-approved food additive, glycerol is a building block of triglycerides (AKA fats), and so is already present in all diets. It’s metabolized with roughly the same calories per gram as sugar, with about half the sweetness. No other sweetener is added – your baby is sweet enough!

Can My Baby Accidentally Overdose on Simethicone?

No. Simethicone is non-toxic, biologically inert and safe to use.

Can I use Gas Relief Drops with your Gripe Water products?

Absolutely! Combining these products can be especially helpful for babies with colic who’ve been crying incessantly. Gas Relief Drops break up gas bubbles and help your baby burp up air. Gripe Water also helps with burping, plus uses ginger and fennel to help soothe digestive distress. Together, they offer quick relief of gas pains and ease tummy turmoil.*

How do Gas Relief Drops work?

Simethicone decreases the surface tension of gas bubbles, causing them to combine into larger bubbles in the stomach that can be passed more easily, so your baby can get nearly instant relief from that full, bloated feeling.*

Why is the recommended age range different for Gripe Water Night Time and Gripe Water Original?

Gripe Water Night Time includes herbs that have a history of safe use for slightly older infants and children. While it’s unlikely there’d be any risk administering Gripe Water Night Time to newborns, nothing’s more important to us than the absolute safety of your brand new baby, so our panel of experts has recommended waiting until your little one is at least one month old. (Your newborn probably doesn’t need much help getting sleepy, anyway.)

Can I give my baby Gripe Water Night Time during the day?

Sure, but keep in mind that our Bedtime Bliss Blend is designed to promote restful sleep.* During the day, Gripe Water Original can help ease tummy troubles, so you can make your baby more comfortable while sticking to your normal sleep schedule.

Is Gripe Water Night Time a sedative? Can my baby become dependent on it?

Absolutely not. Our mild herbal ingredients are gently calming, to help your baby relax.* There’s no melatonin in this formula, and, of course, no drugs.

Does Gripe Water need to be refrigerated?

No! Our Gripe Water contains natural preservatives and doesn’t need to be refrigerated, unlike some other formulas out there. Enjoy one less thing to keep in mind as you care for your new baby (especially when gas or colic comes to town).

How should I give Gripe Water to my baby?

You can administer Gripe Water orally with a dropper, or with an empty bottle after feedings. (And you can even sip some yourself! Gripe Water helps with occasional gas and stomach upset in adults, too.*) Recommended servings: For babies 2-6 weeks old: 1 mL up to 15 times a day For babies 6-10 weeks old: 2 mL up to 15 times a day For babies 10 weeks – 6 months old: 5 mL up to 6 times a day

What is Gripe Water?
