Mommy’s Bliss was founded by Roshan Kaderali, a mom and pediatric nurse, midwife and doula who had used Gripe Water to ease infant colic and fussiness for years while working in Scotland. When she moved to the U.S., she was astonished that the “magical” Gripe Water formula she relied on wasn’t available here. So she set out to create Gripe Water and Mommy’s Bliss was born. As our company has grown, our mission hasn’t changed: help moms everywhere bond with their babies by creating effective, trusted products that incorporate wise ingredients from around the world.
Roshan Kaderali is originally from Tanzania and has lived permanently in the United States for more than 35 years. When Roshan began her nursing practice in the U.S., she recommended Gripe Water for infant colic and fussiness. Working with an FDA-registered cGMP (current good manufacturing practice) laboratory, Roshan introduced all-natural Gripe Water to the American market 20 years ago. From there, Roshan developed many other products based on her years of experience working with infants and new parents.
Yasmin Kaderali grew up learning from her mom about the “miracle of life”, surrounded by the realities of childbirth and infant health through her mom’s maternity center. After attending college at the University of California, Davis, Yasmin spent two years living in Central America volunteering with programs focused on women and children’s human rights. Inspired to learn more and make a difference, Yasmin pursued an MPH & MBA and continued this work in the non-profit sector for five years. Her path led her back to Mommy’s Bliss and she is now CEO of the company. Both Roshan and Yasmin share the dream of helping children and women all over the world to live in bliss, with food, good health, respected human rights and peace.
At Mommy’s Bliss, we run on the power of mom. And we’ve got a strong-and-savvy management team of moms who make our products better, help us stay connected to our customers and just generally make Mommy’s Bliss one of the most awesome companies on the planet.

Roshan is still a part of Mommy’s Bliss and spends her time with her grandkids, and supporting a maternal/child clinic called FAME located in Tanzania, Africa.
When Roshan moved to the US, she couldn’t believe Gripe Water wasn’t available. “These poor moms!”
One of Roshan’s patients calls from home to say the baby’s coming—quick! She rushes over with her daughter, Yasmin, who waits in the living room while Roshan delivers a healthy baby.
In 1999, Roshan and her husband take $10,000 of their savings to create a safe, effective and natural Gripe Water.
Yasmin follows in her mom’s footsteps. After spending two years in Central America volunteering with programs focused on women and children’s human rights, Yasmin comes back to the US to get her master’s in public health and an MBA.
The whole family is involved with the company. Her kids are stunned at how their mom has become an entrepreneur. “My mom didn’t even know how to use a computer,” her daughter Yasmin remembers. “Then she created this successful business from the ground up.”
Yasmin takes the helm as CEO.
