How Fast Does It Work?
That all sounds great, but how fast does it work? Some babies will see occasional stomach discomfort* ease soon after using Gripe Water, though it may take longer with some. It’s really just a matter of testing and seeing how it works for your baby. Some babies get fussy after feedings from eating too fast or from gulping in the air while feeding. It is a good idea to wait 30 minutes after a feeding to give Gripe Water, as this allows time for the little one’s tummy to empty. When given too soon after a feeding, the baby may spit up due to being too full. If your baby is not able to complete feedings due to gas & fussiness, then give Gripe Water about 30 minutes prior to feedings. By giving gripe water at different times, you can learn what works best for your baby.
