Disperse clumps by shaking well before use. Cloudy yellow appearance is normal. Using dropper provided, fill to line for one daily serving and administer by spoon, mixed into breast milk or formula, or apply to breast during feeding. Do not add to hot food or before warming; heat will damage live probiotics. Glass Dropper: Do not place in mouth. If washed, dry thoroughly before reuse.
- Great item! My baby is very colicky and this seemed to help regulate her. Plus I had to give her Vitamin D anyways so it was an added bonus to only have to give her a small does of this that had both things. - Mariela F

What are probiotics? Are they safe?
Probiotics are living microorganisms that scientific research has shown to benefit human health. Most commonly these are bacteria, but they may also be yeasts. In some cases they are similar to, or the same as, the microbes already found in a healthy digestive tract. Many probiotics were originally isolated from common fermented foods such as yogurt. Mommy’s Bliss Baby Probiotic Drops contain the live culture Lactobacilus rhamnosus GG, the most widely studied probiotic in the world with over 800 scientific publications attesting to the safety and healthfulness of these beneficial bacteria. Like all dietary supplements you should discuss the use of probiotics with your baby’s doctor.
What is the normal color and texture of this oil?
Our probiotic drops contain non-GMO corn oil. Corn oil has a mild light taste and is light yellow in color. The microencapsulated probiotic will appear as whitish clumps or sand-like grains suspended in the corn oil. These will settle out on standing. In some cases the microencapsulated beads will form a “plug” in the neck of the bottle that is obvious at opening. This is not abnormal and can be handled by using the dropper to resuspend the beadlets and shake well before administering.
Can I sterilize the dropper?
The dropper may be placed in boiling water to sanitize if needed. However, it is normally not needed to rinse, clean or sanitize the dropper. The dropper should be replaced into the bottle after each use and sealed tightly. Should it be necessary to clean and sanitize the dropper then it must be completely DRY before replacing in the bottle. Water being introduced into the probiotic will cause the microencapsulation to fail and reduce the potency of the product. Also water introduced into the oil will likely allow for undesirable mold and other microbial growth to occur rapidly.
How many cells does my child need?
Studies support taking anywhere in between 1 and 5 billion cells to support digestive health. We provide 5 billion live probiotic cells in the powder packs at the time of manufacture per serving. So long as you consume probiotics routinely even a few million may be enough to provide a benefit.
Do probiotics need to be refrigerated? Can I refrigerate it if I want to?
Our probiotics do not require refrigeration but must be stored at 77oF (25oC) or below to maintain potency throughout the labeled shelf life of the product. Refrigeration can prolong the shelf life of the product but is not required. Keep the bottle tightly closed when refrigerating or freezing the probiotic. Only freeze unopened vitals of the probiotic to avoid moisture pickup on thawing.
How do I administer? Should I put directly into baby’s mouth?
NEVER place the probiotic dropper directly in the mouth. Administer the probiotic by dispensing the labeled amount (5drops) into ready to consume food and beverage, from a spoon or place directly onto the breast prior to feeding. Do not place in HOT food and beverage. Do not microwave after adding. Hot food and beverages can damage live probiotic cells (above 77oF).
